people need to get over the 'if you're not a textbook fighter you're not good' attitude, pacquiao is who he is because of his style, try make him box orthodox (style not stance) and watch him get his ass handed.

i think mayweather beats pac but not because he follows the more traditional boxing style but because of his accuracy, size and strength.

 

PBF used the high guard and came forward against Mosley I think he was sending a message to Pac by doing this.

 

I think he wanted to do that just to show cajones. Even when his leg buckled he stayed in the pocket it really showed his heart. Against Judah, he used the high guard too so it's not a new thing for him.

He was sending Pac a message and he was practicing using the high guard. PBF has practiced many things in fights before this isn't the first time. I vividly remember him practicing fighting off the ropes against Jesus Chavez.

I agree Mosley's overhand right would be effective against the shoulder roll because of his reach. But he still could have stayed on his bike and pot shotted Mosley to death and won by wide UD. He wanted more work with his high guard and coming forward he will use this against Pac.

Do you even watch Pacquiao fight? The guy IS NOT A MASTER of inside fighting skills. He comes in with a flurry and GETS OUT.

 

Of course his training won't change and he's always giving his preparations 110%.....but if he mentally feels PAC is a cake walk he's gonna be in for a major surprise. And he won't have an easy night facing Manny....win, loose or draw.
