I think Gamboa has by far the better boxing skills and would have him as slight favourite. Gamboa, however has a very dodgy chin and Juanma can bang so he could definitely be KO'd by him.

I'll lean 60/40 in favour of Gamboa. Gamboa could get a comfortable points victory if he fought a very disciplined fight.

Juanma stands very little chance of winning and not that much better of
a chance at going the distance either. While styles do make fights a good
barometer of the 2 would be the mtagwa fight. Juanma struggled and yuri
demolished. Rogers has a simple boxer-puncher style with basics mixed with brawling and alot of heart and toughness. Juanma struggled with the
latter while yuri controlled every second of the 2 rounds. Also, juanma
could never hurt rogers enough to gain complete control, and lastly lopez
does nothing better than gamboa. G hits harder, is faster, and is a more
balanced fighter with an equal chin. If gamboa comes in shape and is very
serious he will stop lopez. Gamboa is in at least the same class or better
    and is the stronger fighter.

    Gamboa tko 7

Personally, I think that's a terrible barometer. I lean toward believing that making weight severely hampered him. And moving up and knocking out a never stopped and well established champ does lend itself to that idea at least. ...Wait, did you say equal chin? :huh

What makes you say they have an equal chin?

Gamboa has been put down by nobodies. Lopez, to the best of my knowledge, never has. I think you are being disingenious to Lopez here.

Gamboa will be too quick for Lopez. As long as he doesn't get carelsss he'll cruise to a late stoppage or wide UD

Juanma KO inside 5 rounds. Gamboa has the skills but he's very rash and open to getting nailed.

Juanma is the man for that job.

Juanma has faced tougher opposition and succeeded Gamboa fought bums and Juanmas scraps at a higher weight proving nothing.....Gamboa is shakey but has raw talent....Juanma is just a good fighter

    This
But down the line, if Gamboa keeps improving like he has been... he has the style to beat Lopez, could definitely see it happening.
