Mundine to fight for WBA International Light Middle Title

Cant agrtee with this one mate...Golovkins team won the purse bid....Khoder has not replied to any talk on the purse bid now Golovkin won the right to fight next best fighter.....I think they are happy

Ash, I assume when you say top 50 to 70, you are referring to Box Rec.

By looking at boxrec and checking between the 50-70 ranked jmw's, I can see two top 15 WBA fighters, who are:

7. Damian Jonak - Poland
27-0-1, 19 KOs​

11. Marco Avendano - Venezuela
29-7-1, 21 KOs​

I think the above is the answer to who he is fighting.​

Looking at BoxRec:

Jonak
Has a padded, albeit undefeated record. But has certainly fought some turkeys based on their various career records etc. At least team Mundine could 'sell' this guy as being undefeated.

Avendano
Another padded record, but complete with 7 losses. Most of his record just plain stinks, including the last half dozen or so in the main against complete nobodies; plus two losses to Ishida who has lost twice to Crazy Kim, once to Nader Hamden etc.

Jonak may not be a tragic match-up.

Avendano on the other hand, looks like a potential stinker!

There won't be too many with above double digit IQs based on what looks like being on offer.

The support card is shaping as a paper thin, and when you 'top' it off with a potential stinker of a main event, a chick-flick with the missus suddenly looks like a great night out by comparison!
