There is chatter on another boxing website that if Froch gets beat in his next contest he will retire...:yep

Do you think it's bollox or he will wrap in because he don't want domestic or European fights, or will he step up and start calling out JC...:think

I think he'd go to light heavy. He's spoken about moving up and fighting Pascal. Pascal might get beat up by Dawson though and it might not be such a good fight then.

    Move up to 175 definitely.

I've no idea how him and Kessler make 168 at all, Kessler especially.

I'd recommend he move up without delay, too much many more camps trying to make super middle might start costing him.

He's got all the attributes physically to cope up there, power, chin etc.

He won't retire. Froch is just hot-headed, man. He should go straight to LHW if he goes out of the tourney and drop back down when other fights come along. I, for one, would love to see a Kessler rematch in the future. No need to retire and no need to go back to domestic and European fights at all; getting knocked out of the Super Six is hardly a disgrace and he'll have plenty of options should he not progress.

He should become a mercenary and team up with me on a Calzaghe-Klan wipeout mission

Cant believe he'd retire. No doubt he's pretty well off but due to the ineptitude of his promoter he probably needs a few more fights to be set for life.

He's still a name whatever happens next so will still get big fights.

No he was just on his man period when he made those comments. Although he seems to be on his man period almost permanently these days, it's very off-putting.

Froch still has lots to give and many a big fight left in him.

He should leave Mick regardless of what happens.

He'll move up to light heavy. A great result for him would be Pascal winning the big one.

I doubt he's made enough money to seriously consider retirement. Unless he some legit career options ahead of him, or is cool with the whole austerity thing.

Froch has also said before that he would have loved to have got the European title before stepping onto the world stage. Perhaps a fight for the Euro strap at 168 is a decent bridging fight before he steps it up again if he goes out of the Super Six? I certainly wouldn't begrudge him it considering the run of fights he's had in the last few years.

its a joke how much he moaned about joe c, i just wish joe gave in to his bitching and had the fight it would of been fun to watch. froch without a guard and his average boxing skills against joe's accurate awkward style, joe would have made him look stupid and made a worse mess of froch's easy target face:!:
