Basically moments that make you do this: atsch Post 'em up. - Khan hiring a trainer called Rubio to specifically address his defence, and boasting that he would now be 'untouchable' in the ring, only to be KO'd in his next fight within a minute of the first round, his one and only defeat. - Mayweather Jr coming out to Born in the USA for his Hatton ringwalk, as, I'm assuming, a way to hit the patriotic note and get the Americans on his side to oppose Hatton's big British fanbase. Unfortunately for Floyd, (but hilariously for us) it looks like he didn't examine the lyrics of the song particularly closely, as it seems anything BUT praiseworthy of the country: 'Born down in a dead man's town The first kick I took was when I hit the ground You end up like a dog that's been beat too much Until you spend half your life just covering up Born in the U.S.A., I was born in the U.S.A. I was born in the U.S.A., born in the U.S.A. Got in a little hometown jam So they put a rifle in my hand Sent me off to a foreign land To go and kill the yellow man' - Audley Harrison stating, after beating Danny Williams: 'In 2007 I will win the world title, in 2008 I will be undisputed.' - Nate Campbell getting so cocky that he dropped his guard completely and invited Peden to take a shot. Peden did, and almost took his head off, knocking him out. Unbelievably stupid. - Vivian Harris showing up at the Gatti/Floyd press conference and saying that Floyd had been dodging him, calling him 'baby Floyd, gay Floyd', before clapping for HIMSELF after his speech and saying 'thank you, thank you, thank you'.
Toney dropping his hands and RJJ knocking him down embarrassing. Cringeworthy was Vazquez's cut saturday.
Hopkins faking a low blow against Calzaghe. Calzaghe showboating against the shadow of Roy Jones Jr. :-(
I'm sorry but I just had to laugh at the Judah's dance though:rofl He gets up and tries to jack Nady instead of going after KT.
R Kelly singing Star Spangled Banner. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-pFor88OZk[/ame] I like having anthems before the fight and R Kelly has a great voice but this attempt was comical. The dancing and and silly background music just didnt look right in a boxing ring.
What Nate Campbell did against Peden, just brilliant. Personally I like Calzaghe show boating against RJJ - it is what Roy was doing to lesser fighters for years so it was good to see someone do it to him.
Tyson taking matters into his hands and biting Holyfield. Tyson claiming his back was broken " Spinal" :rofl:rofl:rofl
Well, the Ojays "money, money, money" is all about the dangers of being in love with money as well. - Miranda mocking Bute and getting knocked out * good thread btw
I see what you mean by this one, but the song is sung, you don't really absorb the lyrics unless you really pay attention, except for the "BORN, IN THE U.S.A...." Not necessarily cringeworthy, in that sense.
