what's with online boxing records?

The people that garner the records are just that, people like me and you, open to error with limited time on their hands. I know of hundreds of fights that are missing but I haven't the time to correct them. If you like, THEY is US and any failings are all ours collectively.

Well SRR did not fight at all in 53 ,so you only have 2 years to fit it in,and I can't find it.BB.

 

It must be frustrating for BB, though. Seeing the fight with your own eyes, yet their is more written evidence of a Jack Johnson vs Jack Dempsey fight occurring!

 

Boilermaker, you have no idea how frustrated I feel...I remember so many details of the event...As I have posted before, my instincts tell me that Robby and Dykes fought once before the bout I saw at the Coney Island Veledrome in NY....I know they fought in Chicago, 1950...b.b.

Maybe after he killed that guy in the ring, he became less brutal. Sort of like Emille Griffith after the Paret fight.

Well I saw him June 15,1945 at MSG demolish a tough fighter in 2 rounds Jimmy McDaniels, with a flurry of punches I have NEVER seen since...In his prime,no one I ever saw came close to Sugar Ray Robinson...I hope I shed some light...b.b.
