Has Pacman fought anybody as good as Mosley?

Clottey troubles Mosley similarly to how Winky was able to, imo. Perhaps Mosley could eek out a SD but I envision Clottey countering his way to a UD.

Honestly I think it was a shade different. He was boxing and moving but he was exchanging crisply. Most important Cotto never had that "I want out of here!" body language. I think I saw that towards the end of the Margarito and the Clottey fight.

Cotto is still a good win for Pac in terms of a "name", but as a challenge? Not so much. I do feel the Margarito loss is where Cotto "flew too close to the sun".

Hmm. Winky is twice the boxer Clottey is, and bigger, and Southpaw. I don't see Clottey being able to present any of those troubles. Combined with his wretched workrate and defensivemindedness, Mosley bullies him around to a unanimous points win that Clottey complains about.

Unfortunately, Cotto's career may have been ruined by a cheater. It's a terrible thing to consider.

It is worth mentioning Mayweather has fought better fighters than a 38 year old Mosley.

Well it depends on what Mosley we are talking of. Has Pacquiao fought a fighter on the level of 2000 Mosley ? No he hasnt. Ill assume this is in comparison to Mayweather. The Mosley that Floyd just fought albeit still a great fighter wasnt probablly as good as he was when he fought a close fight with Cotto in 07 and that verison of Cotto agian great fighter wasnt the same that Pacquiao fought he cleary had lost a half a step atleast from the Margarito beating.

See. Comments like this are why *******s are hated. Do you even watch boxing?

Now this same ******* will rave about Pac's win over Margarito completely oblivious to the fact that Mosley knocked Marg into next week and Marg DESTROYED Cotto faster and more devastatingly than Pac did.

I swear Pac fans are the type of people who spend their whole paychecks on QVC.

Mosley will frustrate after not being able to penetrate Clottey's guard. Furthermore, he doesn't have the workrate to completely pin Clottey behind his turtle-shell, ala Pac. Clottey might not be a south paw or be as big as Winky but he is disciplined enough with his defense to wait for his countering opportunities as Winky was.

I hear you, I hear you. Incredibly sad story for a guy who was always so humble and respected the sport and his fellow combatants.

Hmm. We'll have to agree to disagree, perhaps. I just don't put much stock in Clottey, never did. I don't think he would be able to execute a winning strategy against Mosley, who would be able to outfight Clottey in all exchanges, or work him over with his speed. Clottey won't counter with half the efficiency of a Mayweather, and not in the way that will freeze Mosley up.

I don't see it as Clottey needing to come up with a winning strategy; more like the other way around. Joshua would predictably fight the same fight that he always fights and the onus will be on Mosley to execute a winning strategy.

    39 years old Mosley?

See, *****ID like you don't even make any distinction as long as it gives credit to Mayweather.

You yave the logic of an ant. It is like the time you *****IDS justified Mayweather;'s win over JMM - he was the pound for pound number 2. Period. But he was a lightweight (barely actually? Answer - He was the pound for pound number 2, But Mayweather did not even make weight? - Answer - He was the pound for pound number 2..

    IDIOTS.

I have seen Mosley fights sine the time he started fighting and nowhere did he ever ever ever ever ever looked like what he looked in the Mayweather fight.

Yet you *****IDS still refuse to acknowledge that the 39 years olf version of Mosley is not even half the shell of the prime Molsey. IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF MAYWEATHER.

You raise the questions on how a 39 years old Molsey is good, and they will give you an answer of the 1999 Mosley.
