I rewatched Tyson-Holyfield I yesterday, and Holyfield made me cringe with all his god talk. He must of said "God" or "The Lord" about 20 times in the post fight interview.

Also said "My God is greater than his" or something. This was the first time i saw the fight since i was a kid and it was embarassing.

Springsteen is synonymous with "America". There's a country song that came out last year (I believe), actually, that states, "It's a Springsteen song" referring to things that are inherently American... among other things like kids selling lemonade, a ride in a Chevrolet, and a man on the moon. While Springsteen may challenge American institutions or leaders or political ideologies, he's as pro-America as it's possible to be.

The "If you dont like me.." line is good because it makes no sense, but he delivers it like fact. Like we must all be crazy if we dont agree.

That's fair enough then :good I still find it an odd song choice, considering the focus on criticising the war and such, but it's clearly not as dumb a choice as I originally thought.
