Championships Chair Lindsey Tucker and Ratings Chair Daryl Peoples are no longer with the East Orange, New Jersey-based sanctioning organization. “There is a revamping taking place at the IBF and anyone who has a championship matter to be addressed, wants to recommend ratings or any outstanding matters with the IBF should either call or email me,” IBF President Marian Muhammad informed Fightnews.com by email.

They are gonna either make AP fight Wlad or FINALLY give it up........that guy has been #1 since before Haye moved up to heavy and is sitting on it being "not ready". The fact is he will never be "ready" and is waiting for Wlad to lose to exercise it. The other guy's I feel for..........

Nothing is surprising if you remember that the IBF is as shady as the WBA and the WBC ever were, and the WBO is now.
"Sanctioning fees" are just about the same thing as the "protection payment" you make so your store doesn't burn down.
Thats why the alphabet boys love all the new weight classes.More sanctioning fees. There are also more belts to win. The Latino Contenentile Interm Youth Title doesn't sound like much, but it's still another fee.

More on the IBF shakeup
Marian Muhammad statement

“The board called a special meeting today at 5PM and voted me off the board and out the presidency,” former IBF President Marian Muhammad informed Fightnews.com. “They said that there were improper payments to my family members. A lie. I had paid my grandson and my son to clean the office and do some other work – something I had every right to do as long as I did not obligate the IBF to more than 10K. They also said that officials assignments were not being made evenly. More bull crap because we have to go through commissions and recommend officials. In most all cases, the commissions pick who they choose to work the fights.”

She continued, “The other thing was that I am driving the IBF into bankruptcy and that we operated at a 300K plus deficit during 2009. That may be true but we took in 200K+ sanction fees and that same board voted to pay Larry Hazzard 70K when I hired him at the end of 2008. This is where we see how many snakes will survive in this business.

“You can’t get more cut throat than what Daryl Peoples just did simply because he and Lindsey Tucker did not want Larry Hazzard in the IBF office. On more than one occasion, I made it clear that I was not going to get rid of Larry Hazzard. So to get rid of Larry, they cooked up these lies against me. None of the allegations they made against me were substantiated.”

:nut:lol::rofl

Nobody actually cares about these sham organizations.

Up and coming boxers need their titles and cooked-up rankings so they can legitimize their fledgling careers.

I have an idea, why don't we create a sanctioning body that will rank these stupid alphabet groups in terms of which is the most stupid, most corrupt, greediest. :rofl

That way, when we say the "ABC" so-and-so belt, we'd know the fighters fighting for it have their purses majorly screwed because the organization ranks first in greed, or that their reign will be cut short by another fighter thru some crazy ranking **** because the group ranks highly in corruption. :lol:

Guys sanctioning bodies are what built boxing...we have to be grateful for what Jose Suliman and others are doing for our sport...they make boxing what it is.

:rofl:rofl:rofl

The WBC are helping casual fans follow the sport easier by adding a Silver belt and even a Diamond belt. Can't forget about the WBA's regular and super champions.
