Now i know Amir has been calling out Maidana but from what i understand is Maidana had to sign a contract to stay away from Khan for a specified number of fights i think 3-4 fights. so why is Khan and roach calling him out if they know the fight can't be made they know GBP isn't cgoing to void that Deal they know GBP isn't going to rsik Khan with Maidana so why would they bother? is it so they can tell the world well we wanted the fight and called him out but he didn't accept? they know Maidana can't legally accept the fight due to his contract. so who is he going to fight and how dangerous will that opponet be? heres a list of conteders that are currently available. Urango fits the criteria that Khans team should be looking at. Urango has good power and comes forward looking to pressure his opponent. He has decent credibility only losing to elite fighter. However, he's prone to being outboxed. It would be a good test in the lead up to a fight with Maidana.
It's not a proper legal contract atsch They can fight him any time. The only reason they can't fight Maidana on July 31st is because Maidana has a back injury (reason being why he pulled out the Bradley fight)
atsch how do you know it's a legal binding contract. it's already been reported that it signed on paper and was verified by HBO and other people. thats why him being the Mnado was not enforced on Maidana's side and which is why GBP and Universum have been able to get Maidan garuenteed HBO dates as compensation.
