Every once in a while, I get a good question E-Mailed to me. I just received this one and I thought it would be good to see what answers you guys come up with.

What former World Champion was recruited from the audience to replace a boxer that was not able to appear, not once, but twice?

My first thought was Charley 'Devil' Green...but a world champ? It's a total guess...but it sounds like something Fritzie Zivic would do(?)

I came up with several possible answers and both Dundee and Levinsky were among them. We must be using the same sources.

Isidro Garcia was recruited while he was eating some donuts in the audience as a spectator. He borrowed another fighters trunks and wento on to win the WBO flyweight title over Jose Lopez
