The very first reason: A: No heart, he could never have got into a war, not only did he not have the stomach and conditioning, but it moves me to my second point B: No chin, he hand picked a lot of fighters that he could knock out fast, or dominate with movement, but as proven in his fights with Tarver and soft punching Johnson, his chin was terrible and was well overdue being shattered C: Benn was an animal, ferocious, his lateral movement meant he was nigh impossible to hit, and with his hooks, stamina and heart, he would have absorbed everything RJJ could throw, in the meantime, he would be unloading bomb after bomb D: Eubank versus Benn proved that if he wanted, he had amazing workrate, his accuracy was astounding, he could punch from angles, his chin was granite and he would go through pain thresholds in order to win, Eubank lost this after Watson, but prior to that, he was a machine, the Eubank that beat Benn, would beat RJJ, too much workrate, too much accuracy, fast, powerful , determined and no quit. D: McClennan whooped RJJ, prime G-Man met shot Benn, Benns pride and determination after the Americans laughed at him, from fans and journalist, they all predicted an early easy win, saying that about the Dark Destroyer pushed him, as proven at the end of the fight with his interview, McClennan was a much harder puncher, technically more sound and just as fast, much better chin and better defence, RJJ would have been Ko'ed in 3-4, especially luncging in , Benn would gobble glass jaw up. RJJ ducked many fighters in his career, most notably Benn and Calzaghe, Eubanks fault was that his heart was never in boxing, after Watson, he really did treat it for money, he never performed to his ability and often tried coasting decisions, a real waste of talent, but in his day, yes. Now obviously, RJJ had a chance, against Eubank the most as Benn was too aggressive, had Eubank not been forced into a war, he may have stood off, tried to counter and lost, but RJJ has that fragile jaw that he protected for years by avoiding the best fighters in their primes.
I know for fact that BENN would ****ing kill ROY JONES. BENN is brutal puncher,EUBANK said that he **** pure blood for 3 days after first fight. BENN would decimate ROY JONES.
Whilst Benn and Eubank were terrific competitors in their own right, I think the major factor to consider when dicussing this, is the... :huh [hold on one sec] ..yeah sorry, I've just noticed your username. I won't be wasting any more time on this joke of a thread. See ya :hi:
Benn and Eubank were both great fighters but if matched even in their prime against Jones they would come unstuck.
Yeah. I don't know if those guys think they are funny? Come on here, post ******ed ****, go back to the bedroom and continue butt****ing each other? Who cares, they are both on my ignore list too.
Both Benn and eubank have both gone on record to say from their own lips that RJJ had too much for them, and that they would've never lived with him. Both also got severly punked on a british TV show by James Toney, and they looked scared shitless.
I love both Benn and Eubank but square your ****in head up here! Jones was all but untouchable in his prime and it would take better fighters than Benn or Eubank to remotely trouble him. Honestly some people!
Benn's style would have given Jones some issues before he adapted to it, but his chin and defense is not good enough not to get caught with something, Jones hit guys with punches they did not see to. Jones knocked out Malinga who arguably beat beat Benn twice! Jones would beat Eubank by lop sided decision imo, Eubank had poor technique when he had to take the lead and often used to reach with punches, that right there is why i think it would be a clear decision for Jones, not only is Jones extremely quick, he was an effective counter puncher who would have a field day with someone who reached with punches as much as Eubank. Jones was another level to both, hell Eubank got a lucky decision against Dan Schommer!!
I like both Benn and Eubank, grew up watching them, but i think they would hard enough time dealing with the Southpaw Reggie Johnson, let alone Jones.
read the title had a laugh thought i would post and say thankfully il never see a dumber post in my life byeeee
