This would be THE fight in Canada and just a good scrap in general. So far the best names on Bute's resume are Edison Miranda and Librado Andrade so in my estimation having Pascal on his resume would be his biggest win to date if he could pull it off.

Pascal can't make 168 anymore so let's just assume the fight takes place at 175. How do you think this one goes?

Early in Bute's career he TKO'd a fellow named Jean Pascal Service :think perhaps that would shine light on this match:lol:

Not happening . Bute said he will not go to 175 ... only if pascal drops at 168. Lucian said he will go to 175 later in his career... 3 4 years later

A catchweight fight could be possible, if HBO puts the money on the table. Bute won't go as far as 175.

I see Bute winning but Pascal could win some rounds at the beginning of the fight.

Unbelieveble Bute can stay at that weight! He has the height, frame and power to be a naturel LHW

But i understand, 168 is the better division right now

I find it even more unbelievable that Paul Williams can still make 147 lbs as he's taller than 6'2'' even if they list him at that height...

In Bute's case, I say no more than 2 years before he moves up for good. It's getting harder to make weight although still reasonable. He's gained a bit more muscles but he doesn't have a wide or thick frame. His shoulders aren't broad at all for starters.

There's no way Pascal can make 168lbs anymore without heavily draining himself...

Bute by UD, Pascal is too wide with his shots and too open with his defense. Pascal only chance is to go for the big KO. But this would be a huge fight for both and with the rivalry Ibox vs Gym this would surely be a very very good fight.

Bute would beat him even at 175

WBC light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal twice beat your fellow Romanian Adrian Diaconu. Pascal is also tremendously popular in Montreal and represents rival team GYM. Would you be willing to step up and fight him? It seems to be a natural match-up for Montreal.

Bute:I am ready to fight anyone. Yes, if I have the possibility to fight Jean Pascal, I will do it. It would be amazing for the fans in Quebec and beyond.

Williams hasn't made 147 in over two years.

    Bute via stoppage (counter uppercut)
