Because the insurance / treatment center paid for the tickets, and to have a 3rd person would require us to pay for the tickets. It's 1200$ round trip.

Plus I have to continue to work, and take care of the house.

Also, he was only suppose to stay for 4-5 days, but they ended up starting chemo while he was out there. No one had any idea that was going to happen but my mother was pressing for it because she wanted to get him started right away.


I will be the one going the next time he goes to chemo, which will be in 3 weeks.
