Could Manny retire without facing an African American?

    Jack Dempsey is crucified by boxing historians and seriously dedicated fans because he refused to fight African-Americans.Wouldn't it be terrible if Manny retired without facing at least one(Clottey is Ghanaian and NOT African-American and not of that stock,culture or boxing tradition).How can you fight in modern times or any time since the 40's and not fight an African-American and truly be considered a champion?If he didn't fight Mayweather he could still fight Bradley or Alexander or even Judah and satisfy me on this front.And what do they all have in common?Mayweather is by far the most intelligent of them all and indeed is the most intelligent boxer there is today with the possibility of Hopkins having a slight edge on him.But what they all have in common is that they can box their ass off,are very well co-ordinated and very athletic with swagger.This is not by chance,but by design,it is almost what you can expect from an African-American boxer.These are the general traits of this group of people.Mexicans have certain traits as do White-Americans which differs from White-Europeans which differs somewhat from Black-Europeans.So with this being a very distinct group of fighters,the question is,Could Manny Pacquiao retire without facing an African-American? please be civil.

    Why the hell does he have to fight an "African-American"...if there isn't a worthy challenger of that description?

    Dempsey was not a ****ing racist. The only black fighter worth fighting during his entire title reign was Wills. And Rickard didn't allow that to happen, which isn't Dempsey's fault.

    You have to beat "African-Americans" specificially to be a champion/p4p king? Are you serious? Pac has faced more than one athletic boxer with a high ring IQ(hint: this is not something only "African Americans" can do). It doesn't matter what race you are, or what race you're fighting, in the ring. Period.

    Suppose that instead of fighting the best Mexicans available, he fought the best blacks available. This means his resume would.....increase? :patsch

    The only african american who is worthy of a fight is too scared to fight pac. That person's fanboys are trying too hard not to let the fight happen due to complications brought out by the same scared **** african american fighter. Those issues were either drug testing, which pacquiao finally agreed to make the fight happen but a recent deal breaker was again brought up and that was the purse split. Although not surprised, that african american's fanboys are yet again trying so damn hard not to let the fight happen.

    Yep. Looks like pacquiao will retire not be facing an african american.

    I know right. Fighter of the year back to back and Fighter of the decade yet Pac never faced an albanian. Not even a ****ing Pakistani fighter!
