    The fighter of the year award is formally known as "The Sugar Ray Robinson Award".The fight of the year award is formally known as"The Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier Award".Probably %75 of the beat fighters in boxing history have been African-American.Frazier,Foreman,Ali,Tyson,Holyfield,Lewis,Jones,Hagler,Hearrns,Leanord,Louis
    Henry,Ezra Charles,Hopkins,Jack Johnson,Mosley,Walcott,Sugar Ray Robinson,Floyd Mayweather,James Toney, and i could go on and on because i'm not new to boxing.With that said African-Americans are not Polish or German or French or Dutch or Ghanaian or Chinese or any other obscure group of people when it comes to this beautiful sport.Indeed the most important fight ever(Louis vs Schmelling 2)involved an African-American.He beat Hitler that day and the free world rejoiced and celebrated.African-Americans matter in boxing.So the hypothetical question is,could Manny retire without fighting an Afican-American.
