mosley has never been a ppv, and being that he was an american fighting an american, it would actually hurt his home town #s, and many of them would have been paying to see floyd already

cotto has been a decent draw

it was for 2 people, so i'm guessing $600 a pop, and maybe short notice jumped up the price

where are u flying into? i went from philly to london for about $700 (rt), but that was a few years ago

I am a die hard Manny fan and I concede that Floyd is the bigger draw hence it is reasonable to ask for a bigger share of PPV money.

The only way PBF could bring 50,000 "fans" to the Texas Stadium would be if he also brought Jay-Z, Kanye, Soulja Boy, T-Pain ect ect to perform on stage too.

Otherwise there is NO ****ING WAY!!!! :yep:yep

$600 per person does not sound unreasonable. Especially with baggage fees and less than a month's advance notice.

I have flown cross country, to a very close place, from anywhere from $200ish to $800ish. Why? Because I wasn't controlling the dates.

Don't even humor this clown eze. We wish your family the best.

    :good

Doesn't mean he should not take a 50/50 deal, but we understand why FMJ may harp on the purse.

I hope he does take 50/50 in exchange for the USADA testing or 14 day cut off in exchange for 55/45. That would be win/win! :thumbsup

We go round and round bro....we've been through this and we are not going to see eye to eye which is fine. Of course you have some valid points but I do as well. Unfortnately we are on opposite sides of the fence.:yep

he would have zero problem, if 1.4 mil pay 50+ for a PPV, he wouldn't have problems selling some $40 seats

    ain't gonna happen floyd.

You had your chance to shove the ppv numbers with the shane fight down pac's throat.

Apparently 1.5 mil ppvs compared to 1.2 ppvs for a non american isn't a big bargaining chip.

I've always said (long before drug testing became a point of negotiation) that if the fight agreement could not reached between Pac-FMJ that the side who would be at fault (thus deserving of fan ridicule) is the party who demands a higher purse split. It's a 50-50 fight in terms of promotion, recognition, and even accomplishments (in some peoples eyes), thus the purse split should also be symmetrically divided.

For the record, the fight will happen, imo.

We can agree to disagree and that cool however, I have yet to see any of you Pac fans produce a valid point as to why Pac "deserves" 50/50. You just say, "Manny deserves it...", "Arum won't agree...", "He offered 14 days last time...", etc... All of which are not "valid points". :nono

Present your bulleted list of "valid points" as to why Pac and FMJ are equal PPV draws and Pac deserves 50/50. I don't think your points exist. :bart

Okay so 1200 for two round trip and being that your father is sick that makes sense I am sure you can get a round trip for about 200 bux that is if you really wanted to be there.
