Yeah, a real shame about Dynamite, he was a local lad. Fought at the Pavilions a few times. I was hoping Eastman wouldn't have anything left in the tank when they fought, but unfortunately Howard did have some left and clonked him.
He could clatter certianly but even a fairly laid back Eastman thrashed him. Thinking back on that I cant help thinking how much Howard Eastman pissed me off. He should have beaten Joppy and he was strong enough to beat Hops but Hops and Eastman were the complete polar opposites mentally. Mentally beating hopkins cant be done but Eastman just crumbled into a sparring partner that night. :fire
Eastman would never have beaten Hopkins. Strange that he was a feared competitor throughout gyms, but looked more like a sparring partner in his big fights.
