I took part in more world title fights (recognized by BoxRec) after my 35th birthday, than any other boxer.
    Who am I?

Can it really be someone other than Archie Moore? He must have fought a dozen.

Yes, PowerPuncher and McGrain... Moore would seem to be the obvious answer. However, he is not the correct answer to this question.

Bernard Hopkins surely must be up there? I had to boxrec it but he had 12 Middleweight title fights after his 35th and if you include the Ring Magazine Light Heavyweight title then it goes up to 15 with the Tarver, Winky and Calzaghe fights.

    mckay and Boxed Ears:
Yes, Hopkins is certainly up there. BoxRec, however, doesn't recognize any of his light heavyweight bouts as title fights. So he had just the 12 (at middleweight), after he turned 35... the same as Archie Moore.

We're looking for someone, who had more than 12 world title fights after turning 35.

If the Tarver, Winky and Calzaghe fights were included, would he come out on top?

It was Luis Estaba - who fought 14 times for the WBC Light Flyweight title from 1975-78.

Quite impressive. Thanks for the trivia, Bu. I'm going to call you Bu, because I can't call another human being Bukkake.

Good 1, was going for Hops second which wouldnt be right either, so if Rings included Hops is above Moore?
