I was wondering who is considered as the best Polish fighter P4P. I count on foreign opinions, but of course Poles are welcome:)

Adamek, Michalczewski?.....Golota? Please support your opinion

    Thank you:)

If you mean actually from Poland, offhand, I'd say TA or DM would have to be the options. But if you mean by Polish descent...maybe Ketchel and Zale could make it a more interesting discussion.

Definitely Golota. Golota in his prime had solid skills, good power, definitely championship material when looking only at his physical attributes...

But no self confidence, no heart, quitter,... mentally a big loser!!

    It's a shame...

Golota got the skill yes i confirm

    But

Boxer in overall is also heart and psyche. We must asses skills and mentality both, they are very neccesery and insepareble.

I will said that Golota is on 3rd place, but of course he had almost everything to be absolutely number one.Almost.....:(

I think it's still Michalczewski, but a step behind is Adamek. Michalczewski has defended his championship more than 20 times (25? 26?), also was undefeated in 48 bouts in a row. He has had unbelieveable jab and had some wars with Virgill Hill or Richard Hall.

Adamek is about to surpass, but he has to be a champ to do it and of course it's going to be so haaard. I like him the most tho. He gives similar emotions like Golota was giving to Polish fans. Waking up at night to watching him fighting, but the one diff between them Adamek reached much more than Andrew, who was 'the Hope of White' in 90's.

    Love em all.

Also there're Wlodarczyk, current CW WBC world champion, Jackiewicz WW IBF mandatory contender and Polish hopes - Masternak, Kolodziej (CW), but I don't see them reaching the same as the trio mentioned above. But I think they may give a lot of joy and pride to Poland.

    cheers,

This is why as much as Adamek is growing on me, I don't see him eclipsing DM. Even if he were to say, beat Haye for the WBA title or grab one of the major HW titles, that's still so much to go up against. DM was a two-division champion but with all those defenses, as you said. Big legacy, there.

Definitely not Golota. He managed to lose every single important fight in his career. His best win is a past prime Tim Whiterspoon.
Yeah, he had potential, but that don't pay the bills.

For me, the best is still Dariusz Michalczewski, even tho we all know his 1st fight with Roccighiani was a disgrace.

Let's see how far Adamek can go at HW. He can still position himself ahead of DM.

Sometimes i just ask myself...Andrew why?

Especially with Bowe Grant and Tyson....first two easy he could win, Grant also even much easier, Tyson maybe not win but show some class boxing

    1. Michalczewski
    2. Adamek

    3. Golota

If fighters from Polish descent are included, Ketchel is easily the best.
