Conteh would outbox and outpunch Hill. John would stop his man late in the contest. Hill would be in survival mode by the fifth round or so.
Conteh>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Calzaghe
Hill. And he had a better jab then John did as well not to mention he was faster then Conteh as well-had a rock soild chin- and ALWAYS shows up in shape.
Hill wouldn't beat the best Finnegan incidentally imo.albeit maybe slightly past his best he barely got past the poor man's version Henry maske, taking advantage of Maske freezing in the early rounds.
Finnegan probably finds a way to lose... He should of had an aging Foster but choked, and gave Conteh fits and choked. I see Chris building a lead, but finding a way to blow it late, even against a relatively featherfisted Hill. Hill TKO14.
Foster was still prime(if not absolute peak) against Finnegan imo.It was the Ali fight that really cut short his prime i'd say. I think it's really harsh to say he choked against either of those guys.He fought with plenty of sharpness and guts, just wasn't as good. He could certainly lose on cuts to Hill though, i'd admit that.similar to the schmidtke fight.
I saw the highlight reel. Hill came in slightly soft and paid the price against a fighter pretty much at his pomp.
What an idiotic thing to say. RJ knocking out Hill had NOTHING to do Hill's lack of conditioning. It was simply a perfectly placed, lightning fast punch that landed in the perfect spot.
