I was curious because mostly I don't care about other than the main event. But I was wondering if you guys can name the best undercards or even solid ones.

I don't even remember the main event but the fight between Gabriel Ruelas vs Arturo Gatti(Rip) did better than the main event.

forgot who else fought in that undercard but that fight was awesome.

Also later that year, on Chavez-Lopez, two undercard fights were Castro-Jackson 2 and Trinidad-Carr.

PAVLIK-MIRANDA!! from 2007 Taylor "defending" the middleweight championship vc. Cory Sprinks in the main event..

May 2007 I believe.. Pavlik and Miranda were the top 2 contenders, both undefeated I think too.. knockout punches for 7 rounds, a real slugfest!
    Possibly Pavlik's best performance ever..

The Main event was a 12 round borefest snoozer, only highlighted by Manny steward's cursing and talking in the corner!

Back then Don King really went out just to sell a card. THese days promoters have the mindset of "Save some for later"

King would put on PPV CARDS with the idea being people paid more so they should see a bunch of good fights and fighters. Nowadays, promoters just put on a PPV main event.
