When they both decide to go flat footed, can PAc land double right hooks to the body, straight left hands to the head and body, turn floyd, and dig to the body, push Floyd back a bit, step back and jab, fall in, use defense as offense. Can he win a war of attrition over Floyd? I just don't see it.

Ok, but Pac has to get past the jab/reach of Floyd. Good job Mega...

You can always tell when a ******* tries to answer honestly, and he just can't since he/she is a homer...

pac definitely can't pull a duran on leonard. Duran was at least comparably similar to leonard in size and strength... highly doubt pac is able to push floyd around. And floyd's too smart on the inside anyways

how will floyd's jab be useful against manny?

Pac can give angles even flat footed. There comes a time in every big fight that a fighter has to stand in that circle of fire and trade/fight. Duran and Fraizer did this with superb boxers. Can Pac do this to Floyd and win?

the height difference between leonard and duran is twice the height difference between pac and floyd.

IF flatfooted, I'm not exactly sure due to the reach advantage Floyd has, but Manny addresses his reach problem through lunge combinations... albeit a bit more dangerous.

So in short, can manny fight flatfooted? It depends on the type of fighter he's pitted against. Also, despite it possibly becoming a war of attrition, I dont think either will gas. Youve seen their fights.

I hear ya. Pac gassed a bit against JMM and Morales, but those were great fights against difficult opponents. Pac can't afford to gas or stay on the ropes at all against the best conditioned fighter on earth. The fight may or may not be a toe to toe fight, and all i'm asking fans is to give their opinion, and you gave yours and defended it well. Good job:good

Just because you are confused does not mean that I am.

How often have you seen Pacquiao rest the way he did against Cotto? Just because you're taking a rest doesn't necessarily mean you will stand and fight flat footed in a war of attrition.

Also, Morales is hardly a fair comparison. Pacquiao had blood all over his face from an accidental headbutt and was at a huge disadvantage.

You keep saying WHEN they fight flat footed. Fact of the matter is, it is not absolutely certain that it will even come to that.

Pac is no Duran on the inside, but May is no Leonard either.

Ray is a much more aggressive finisher and generally aggressive stylist.

I do see that Pac/Floyd is kinda the Duran leonard of the day - But I also just DON'T see Floyd letting Pac work inside, he's pretty well consistently held and tied up with anyone wanting to work inside in all his recent fights that I can remember.

didn't he land less than ten jabs a round in that fight. :huh and was at a reach disadvantage.

Furthermore Pac doesn't have that awesome Jab Duran was able to punctuate inside combo's with on the inside. And he's a lefty.

Im just glad to have actual boxing discussion..:thumbsup

True that Pac does gas a little, what will happen in the fight though will really depend on who asserts his style of fight over the opponent. If they fight Floyd's pace, I see Pac not gassing but instead getting confused ala Mosley. With Pac's pace I can see Floyd getting overwhelmed and the later minor gassing not outweighing the damage done. One of the most important keys to the matchup would be who can enforce their pace.
