There's a great card this weekend in Puerto Rico which doesn't get any love due to fanboys took over with their drug testing, money splitting and PPV discussions which isn't really about fighters fighting in the ring, now is it? Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., the son of the former champ fights former Olympian and unbeaten Zsolt Bedak in a possibly very exciting super-bantamweight match-up (the division producing FOTY match-ups year after year) and Roman Martinez takes on Gonzalo Munguia at 130lbs. (now's the time to relize there won't be any title related discussion). WV2, the holder of the WBO SBW belt is progressing rapidly as he's learning the game in the pro ring. He's not the most skilled guy out there but physically strong, hard hitting and loves a brawl and if he can progress in the upcoming years, he could be a major star from the Island. He put away Filipino hot prospect Marvin Sonsona in four and takes on another unbeaten fighter on Saturday. Zsolt Bedak is no pushover, the Hungarian beat Abner Mares in an all-out brawl back in Athens and looks for pro glory as well. His style was somewhat changed under the German pro system but lately he developed good power in his left and doesn't run away from a fight if there's one. Should be fun while it lasts and somebody's 0 must go, what's not to love about this match-up? Roman Martinez went to the UK and knocked out Nicky Cook impressively in 4 rounds to capture the WBO SFW belt last year, and made a 9-round defense vs. Feider Viloria in his first defense. He fights Nicaraguan Gonzalo Munguia who has never been stopped and holds the WBO latino belt. It shold be a good one too. Don't know where to watch the card but definitely has good excitement value. :thumbsup
hahaha, nice one. At first I was surprised you would actually dip into the stinky pool of *******s vs *****s I'm rooting for Vazquez Jr because I liked Sonsona and would like to think he lost to a real champ.
imma Start doing this to all my threads haha, but on the reals Im really starting to become a fan of WVJ and I think he has great things infront of him
