Does everyone now accept that Mikkel Kessler was not "RUINED" by the Calzaghe defeat?

I'll make a bet with you right now, that not only will Green beat Kessler, he will KO him in 9.

It seems like Kessler may be past his peak, but saying Calzaghe ruined him was silly and simplistic. Father Time did far more damage than Slappy Joe.

No way Green isn't a big puncher and Kessler has one of the best chin's in the
    division.

I'm not even sure that Green continues in the super six after Ward beat's him up

    I accept this bet

**** i voted NO by mistake, the Ward fight was a tougher loss than the Calzaghe one.

Green is a big enough punch to trouble Kessler and his now wide looping punches and terrible defense. If Froch could touch him as much as he did, Green will be able to as well.

Do you want to take me up on the wager?

calzaghe did'nt ruin him but that was kesslers last great performance.after the calzaghe fight he had a load of injurys for a couple of years plus his management were messing him around big time putting him in the ring with fighters who were not going to improve his game.he's lost a step or two thats clear for every one to see but he's still a very good fighter.

    you can clearly
you can clearly see he ruined lacy big time, before that fight everyone was saying lacy was gonna destroy calz and that he was gonna be the next big super star but calz put an end to that.when your young and full of confidence getting the kind of attention and hype that lacy was getting then go on to take a beating like the kind he did, that will **** your mind up.i don't care what lacy was after calz handed him his arse only what he was before.

I actually scored that fight for Sheika which proved that Lacy was exposed as not that good before he ever fought Joe, JC's win over Lacy has to the most overrated win history.

I think you have to be a huge Calzaghe nuthugger to say that Calzaghe ruined anyone in his last 6 bouts.

Lacy's limitations were exposed, (although anyone watching him should have seen those before, especially with Sheika) but what ruined him was having to undergo major surgery on his left shoulder, which took away his only real weapon in the left hook.

    Kessler - not ruined.

    Hopkins - not ruined.

    Jones - Already ruined.

Can't comment on Manfreddo, but Bika certainly doesn't seem ruined. It just seems like he wasn't that great to begin with.
