Why wouldn't I "stick around afterwards"? Whoever wins will be attaining my praise. High praise at that.

    1. So, to be clear, are you suggesting I've been wrong in my posts? If so, quote me and show me where I went wrong.

    2. Good for you/him? There are lots of people who don't know what they're talking about. That has nothing to do with me. If you're going to lump me with other posters, be clear and show examples.

everyone knows that floyd changing his demands will only result in one thing. No Fight. Pac is a huge star of the sport. Why does floyd think he can bully pac and get his way. Everyonre knows that isn't happenning, so you are basically defending this.

Read the rest of the thread if you're looking to find out how things work and how things aren't the same now as in December.

very disapointed with this. i've defended floyd way too many times, but i can't defend this. i don't understand why floyd is treating pacquiao like this. a random drug tests up to 14 days before the fight is good enough, but now floyd wants it random tests up to the day of the fight, which he knows pacquiao won't accept. floyd didn't even do this to mosley as mosley cut off was apparantly 18 days. i don't want to say this, but it looks like floyd is ducking pacquiao.

I don't need to read the thread to ascertain your opinion on the negotiations. And that's all it is, an opinion. It's not like you're a player within either camp or even privvy to the finer details. You're just another fan and poster, like the rest of us.

    1. Pacquiao refused Floyd's offer. The negotiations failed. That deal was no longer on the table. Floyd's position improved. New negotiations, new terms.

    2. Who is denying that?

    3. Bully? It's a negotiation, it's a business. You make offers, you make things work, ideally.

    4. This isn't a playground. I'm not going to feel bad for Pacquiao for turning down the deal of a lifetime and now coming back and saying he wants that same deal.

Man oh man. This has been explained countless times. There was no agreed-upon eighteen day cut-off with Mosley. Honestly....

I didn't say you didn't know what you are talking about, I'm just saying all you have to proffer is an opinion. I must say, you're displaying traits of having delusions of grandeur here.

I trained and had a few amateur bouts in my teenage years and have remained a fan of the sport ever since. I've been following boxing for 20 years now. I don't have to explain what draws me to the sport as I'm sure it's the same as most of us here.

To be clear, I do not hold Pacquiao in contempt. Sometimes in heated debates, I will be overly critical of him but that's usually to bust *******s' balls. In other threads even today, I gave Pacquiao an edge in resume over Mayweather and am always quick to praise Pacquiao's accomplishments over the past 6 or 7 years. I've purchased or watched his last 10 or 12 fights and do consider myself a fan as I am of dozens of other boxers.

Mayweather is my favorite boxer because I admire his skill and ability and truly believe that he is the best that I have ever seen in my 20 years of following the sport. I find his antics outside of the ring to be amusing for the most part although I do cringe and shake my head in embarrassment from time to time.

I want the Pac/May fight to be made more than anyone and do not have any personal interest in the contract specifics. That does not stop me from sharing my opinion on the issues on this boxing message board. May can accept 20% purse and I'll have the same smile on my face watching him beat up Pac as I would if he were to receive 80%.

    Anything else?
