i was just pointing out that with more prep and a longer camp, mr barker may well have done alot better. thought he looked pretty decent for the first how ever m,any rounds
No, I don't see it. Not that any of Macklin, Lee, Duddy etc will either - they ought to be having a series of fights to establish the one most likely instead of fighting bums. Lee hasn't even had a scheduled 12 rounder yet and Duddy has had.... 2 :think..... Macklin is on a mission to go through every trainer in the sport and Barker is sticking with fat knacker Hennessy.
They are different fighters with different skillsets, strenghts and weaknesses so it is wrong to say none of them will ever win a world title. Lee has all the tools needed to go onto better things with a bit of work of course, Macklin too. Duddy and Barker don't stand a chance, Duddy because he's just not that good and Barker because while he is a solid boxer he lacks the power and arguably the chin to make it onto world level.
I'll ram that post down your throat when the chinny hypejob gets stretched by someone even more average than Duddy! :good
Duddy is the definition of average. If Barker gets starched, it will be on the world stage, somewhere where Duddy isn't.
wrong (I wish there was a big Family Fortunes type smiley) EEEHHHHH-EH! Barker was put down by a few guys that wouldnt make British level never mind someone at world level. p.s. Duddy will get a world title shot quicker than Barker if he gets past JCCJ :deal
If Duddy drags him into a fire fight he will win easily by KO. The young kid can take a punch but doesn't seem to have the heart for it. If he tries boxing he'll most likely do more than enough to get the nod but won't. Some high ranking people have invested quite a lot in Chavez, if it's anything like close.... it's only going one way :yep
