and quite frankly, almost everyone is saying 50/50 is fair, and 55/45 is not unreasonable if there are other concessions in the process

your original point was that pac is the p4p#1, then eze came in and showed you he is not the clear cut p4p#1

so then you just ignore that and move to the FOTD

if thats your only point, well then, there really isn't anything else to discuss

 

Hey I asked for info about who is p4p #1, it appears I was mistaken and it's not as clear cut as i thought. No big deal, I'm not running from that.

Fighter of the decade is a huge feather in the cap that can't be ignored, I said that from the beginning and stand by it.

I certainly hope almost everyone is saying 50/50 is fair. I just hope Mayweather and his team do too.

In the end, I'm sure you will agree that irt would be really disappointing to have the fight fall apart over a greedy purse demand.

 

I remember about twenty years ago, when I was playing the field.

If I showed any interest in a girl, and she didn't immediately respond, I would say to myself "When and if she gets interested in me I aint giving her another chance."
It didn't matter what her reasons were for not responding... she may have already had a boyfriend at the time... it didn't matter.

Then I grew the **** up. I met a nice girl, (A really nice girl) showed some interest, and didn't get an immediate response. But then later on she wants to hang out, and one thing lead to another...

Now I can look back and say I ruined so many good opportunities because of my "One chance" bull****. Why was I doing it?
1) A really bull**** ego problem.
2) I wasn't interested in committing myself to any of those girls, I didn't want it enough.

Age may not bring you wisdom, but it gives you experience and can lend you some perspectives. Floyd is acting exactly like I did in my mid teens. A stupid kid with a bruised ego, who doesn't really want the fight anyway.

Almost makes me wish boxing was like the UFC, where a guy like Dana White could just point at both of them and say, "Get ready because you are fighting eachother next PPV"

 

yeah, boxing is too split up

UFC is doing well for a young sport because it is a centralized agency

with all the alphabet orgs in boxing, it's a mess

 

Plus, UFC fighters don't have teams of agents, managers, PR people and lawyers controlling things...they belong to the league and will fight who the commisioner says they will fight.

Although i imagine, once the UFC gets big enough, and the fighters wake up and realize they are making peanuts, while the owners get rich, they will all start to hire guys like Bob Arum to represent them and it'll get as bad as boxing lol

 

well, unless another org puts pressure on them by stealing fighters in the USA, or the fighters actually make a stand and refuse to fight for table scraps, i don;t see things changing anytime soon

UFC is for brain-dead ADHD ****ers who don't appreciate strategy and skills. UFC fighters are bad-ass but most fights end when someone gets lucky. In boxing, it's rare that the better man loses.

 

For **** sake what has happened to boxing. Manny pac needs to take these god damm tests. Is he on drugs or sumfin. Mayweather is doing good for the sport , these cats need extra testing in a sport as dangerous as boxing
