"And I’ll be honest, I do question what kind of mind frame Cotto is in. The last time I saw him, he was pretty wasted at a bar at one of the host hotels after the Pacquiao-Clottey fight in Dallas. My guess is that he was drowning out his emotional pain. He’s been through a lot lately with his split with uncle/former trainer Evangelista, the loss to Pacquiao, and of course, the passing of his father.

Cotto’s one of my favorite fighters of the past 10 years but I consider him an underdog vs. Foreman, who has been very active and is going to be extremely confident and motivated on June 5. I don’t believe the future rabbi is going to have an easy time with Cotto, but I think Foreman will rise to the occasion and win a competitive unanimous decision."

I think Yuri will give Cotto hell but won't get the nod because of Cotto's popularity. Kinda like Oscar-Sturm

What the hell is with this trend of starting threads with 'esteemed blabla comments on something'. Is it some sort of running joke? I hope so.

Cotto is a better in-figher than Foreman, I think. But yeah, if his head is mince, he will lose.

However, what we have here is a guy who saw another guy drunk in a bar and then added all kinds of arms and legs. Cotto is a proffessional. But we'll see.

Yuri doesn't have a high workrate.
Yuri is just a pure boxer he hasnt fought anyone that great.
he doesnt have much knockout power, but he got skillz.

Cotto is a warrior hes been in wars and he has good pure boxing skillz. Cotto is going to hurt him . Cotto fights the best and wins vs the best accept pacman which is no shame in that. n lost to margacheeto..cotto gots this fight he aint gunna let this young boy beat him.

Cotto has to be extremely shot for Foreman to beat him and that is saying something to be coming from me, because I don't think too highly of Cotto to be honest, but Yuri has no punching power at all and is there to be touched, especially the body.

Steve Kim also think that Foreman will decision Cotto

I think its 50/50. At 3/1 odds I think Foreman by decision is the best bet.

Depends on what Cotto has left. Yuri is a light hitter for 154 but he will be the bigger guy in the fight. I'm leaning toward the Hebrew Hammer via SD with Cotto retiring after the match.

It all depends on what Cotto has left. If he's still operating at a high level than he beats Foreman. If he just isn't the same anymore than Foreman probably outpoints him. Foreman is a solid fighter who matches up well with Cotto. I suspect Cotto will be energized with the move up in weight and with Steward in his corner. Cotto by decision.

Those are pretty good odds, although Foreman's going to have to take a good 9 rounds off of Miguel to land that decision.

It all boils down to where Cotto's head is at for this. Foreman, if nothing else, has good, consistent skills and can capitalize if Miguel's having an off night but a Cotto anything close to his best will likely chop him down with bodywork.

I'm actually pretty interested to see this fight as it gets closer even though I wasn't too thrilled when it was announed.
