    Just out of interest.

Will we be saying he is the best of this era or will people be saying he was fighting another smaller man?

he'll get more credit than he's ever gotten for any other win on his record because it will be far an away his best win.

What i'm wondering is: all these people who think Floyd will make easy work of Pacquiao, will you still give him credit if its a close fight? or will you say that he was below your expectations?

Alot of Mayweather fans were saying that Floyd was gonna knock Shane and Marquez out, and now even though he couldn't do it they still think those are amazing performances. I think it was an amazing performance but I also didn't think Floyd would knock Shane out.

At least people will say he stepped up to prove his best I think, just like accepting Mosley's challenge when nobody thought he would

Would you say it's better than any victory on Pacquiao's resume?

people will say he beat another smaller man and ask him to fight the foreman cotto winner for ultimate credit...

people like philla will give him credit cuz theyve pumped pac so much to be so much better than floyd that when he loses they have no choice but to respect him......just like all he die hard hatton fans...

people in the middle won't and floyd fans already know the deal

He was fighting a smaller man with a part time career in politics.

He could beat pac@147, williams@154, and martinez@160, and then retire. They say he was ducking one of the young guys.

Well to be fair Pac's one of the best and he can't add his own name to his own resume so in that sense he is better then all the opponents he faced :good

when floyd dominates people that were supposed to be his hardest fight ever after the fight everyone says he has never challenged himself

so it also depends on how he beats pac

I would probably give him more credit if the fight was close, same goes for Pacquiao.

When a fight becomes too one sided it's easy to discredit the loser as being shot/spoiled/overrated etc but when you've got too guys going at it in a close, competitive then they get more credit from me for digging deep and pulling out the win.

    If that makes sense.

    none

because pac isn't a great fighter and isn't very skilled.

i will give floyd no credit for beating this unskilled nobody.

zero, pac's too small, drained from blood tests, didn't have his mind on the fight, at the end of his career, etc.
