amazing footage and to think he had a huge coke habit and alcohol and he could train and fight wow man he was a beast trust me!
Thanks for the post:good Valero looked really awesome in sparring, i mean he was having his way with Antillon who is a pretty damn good fighter himself. Watching this makes you think more about would could have been.atsch:-(
Antillon is a good fighter and a top 10 contender on many peoples list. Santa Cruz is a tough guy for almost anyone, just ask Casamayor. Juan Lazcanzo was also a top LW and JW contender at the time of this documentary.
Yey i know what your saying and that is true but only to a certain point, bottom line its still boxing and sometimes can tell alot.
Part of me wishes i hadnt watched that , anybody who watches that and says this man was not a superstar is ****in out of there mind , did you see how good he was at those crucial minor adjustments , **** that was sad !!!!!!! , he was so good ................. RIP Edwin ............................
Honestly, Valero only ever fought 1 creditable opponnet. Everybody looks good in training. Von Gogh, Tupac, & now Valero, everybody is loved and respected after their death. I did enjoy watching Valero and I thank him for his entertament in the ring, but w/o facing top guys it's hard for me to consider him a top level fighter due to his training camp footage..........RIP Valero
Thanks for posting this. I was a huge Valero fan. Tragedy is the only word I can think of about him now. Wasted talent is an understatement when said about Valero.
Someone killed Valero and his wife. http://www.examiner.com/x-21442-Sac...edy-Body-Exhumed-and-police-accused-of-Murder
Well people are talking about the potential that he had. Nobody is saying that he died an atg, and about the comparison with other dead artist, I dont think people are going to remember Valero like that in 20 years. It is sad because he had potential. Its not only us saying it, but trainers who (no offense) see top fighters in training everyday.
its a shame we will never see what might of been...was looking forward to him moving up to light welter. oh and i'm pretty sure hatton won a 12 round shut out against lazcano:good
