Who cares? It's not even that much, it might just be water retention.

Whatever at least he's doing what he's supposed to against bums.

Once he steps up to a C+/B- fighter he will lose, and someone will get a title shot because of it :patsch.

he didn't gain 8 pounds in a week. The weight for the first fight was recorded incorrectly. If you watch the weigh in video for the Alexander fight you will clearly hear the lady calling the weight shout out '268'. So actually he lost 2lbs rather than gained 8

Wherever that 8 pounds was, you couldn't see it. He was lean and ripped in the ring and had Calloway running when Rob threw an overhand right square at Shannon's face and it did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

8 pounds for a guy with his size and muscle mass really isn't that much.

He's just happy with the little media attention he receives from knocking out bums, like Kimbo Slice in his youtube days...

    War Briggs, eh?

If he can carve out the rest of his career doing this sort of thing, he can be the new King of the 4 Rounders.

He's almost always been an exciting fighter. My kind of HW, you get your money's worth either way.

thats because calloway is a 40 year old cruiser, fighting a heavyweight fight and still was outweighed by 50 pounds. i would hope briggs could take a punch from him :happy:happy
