I believe that Vitali is clearly superior to Wladimir...

I've seen that fight. I think Byrd won 1 or 2 rounds at best.

Wlad has had a better career. Really, there's no comparison. In a head to head matchup, Vitali would probably win because of his toughness.

 

Ummm...No offense, but you're off you're rocker. The current version of Wlad have beat every fighter Vitali beat in his comback with ease. He also would have looked a heck of a lot better against the Kingpin and Gomez than Vitali did. By comparison, Vitali would have had a devil of a time with Chambers, in my opinion. And I'm not sure he would have beat Thompson.

 

When is the last time Vitali destroyed an opponent??? I'm thinking 2002, fat Kirk Johnson. Sorry, the 2010 version of Wlad is not Kirk Johnson. Wlad would win an easy decision.

 

I'd watch again. Vitali won about 2 rounds clearly. The other were all extremely close.

 

Wlad is much better. Better technican fighter and better opponents.

H2H prime for prime Vitali wipes the floor with Wlad. This isn't a knock on Wlad, it's about how highly I rate Vitali.

When their careers are over Wlad will be placed higher by historians. If Vitali didn't have the injuries it would be a different, but that's another thread...

 

Wlad is superior in terms of skill set. His jab is clearly better and I believe he is the superior puncher. It's just his chin which is vastly inferior to Vitali's.

 

Vitali. I have no doubt in my mind. Vitali has a great chin which Wlad does not, he is much more aggressive and seems much more comfortable and relaxed while fighting. Wlad has stamina issues when he is really pressed and we have seen his chin fail him which we can not say about Vitali. Vitali is also a finisher who has more killer instinct in my view. I will say that Wlad is definitely the prettier fighter and alot more technically sound, man if you could some how combine these two we would really have something. Bottom line if they did fight Vitali knocks Wlad out no doubt!
