After that I can see Matchroom and Hearne signing up the Big Bang the man is a legend and he will be the man to get Casey the better fights and to help him on his way.

Good man mush!!! I'd have had some explaining to do to the missus if he hadn't won. It would have been pot noodle and baked beans and sleeping on the couch :deal

I'm made up for the lad. He has the grit, stamina and chin. Lets polish up them skills boy and we'll see how far he can go!

****ing over the moon. Casey has everyone in the hall cheering for him in the final! Heart of a lion he showed in the final. Especially after the first round! Earned himself a reputation and a lot of new fans along with a cool 32 grand.

All hail Big Bang Casey :happy

I wonder after watching that would our Carlos want to fight in a prizefighter if it was offered to him in the future.

Without getting into the nuthugging thing too much.

The risk/reward isn't there for Carlos in a prizefighter. Bad decisions, clash of heads, bad KD calls can all come into it.

He's a skilled fighter who won't lose anytime soon boxing in 'normal' fights so why risk it in a prizefighter. The extra few quid he might win is hardly worth it and the extra bit of exposure doesn't matter because he's going to get noticed eventually because hes a quality fighter.

Right the question stands after tonigh which one of the Hyland boys is going to man up and give Big Bang the shot at the Irish title he deserves after tonight.
Pajo may have too much for him over the distance but i reckon he would give Paulie fits.
