Vitali didn't train for the Lewis fight, he flew into LA the morning of the fight from Tahiti, where he was on holiday with his wife and kids.

Between them we have a full 5 cases of crawling about like a baby on the cavas and crying about the pain and quitting.

5 losses and some 90 wins or so with some 70% or more KOs (its probably more im sure). And yet with all that according to you crying and ****, HAYE STILL WILL NOT FIGHT THEM. I wonder does he still wear that tee shirt ?, do you ?, you must look awfully silly if you do, considering hes gonna be fighting audley ****ing harrison next or so it seems. I like how he takes that fight knowing full well vits will retire by the end of the year, and so may only have one fight left in him

By all accounts both men were living it up while filming there fight scene in that film they did together that year. But yeah i agree lewis was near the end, and vits had a wonderful chance to take him out, dont matter what happened in the fight, or if he was leading, fact is he lost and thats that.

What you mean to say is that Lewis hoped that Johnson could take him out but when he saw Johnson get harpooned he realized that he could not defeat Klitchko so he decided to retire with "nothing left to prove".

No it would not, he lost the fight anyway and came back to dominate you spastic.

Have you seen any Lewis interviews lately, slightly punchy but not too bad. Retired at the best time possible.

If you want to know what it's like when a fighter doesn't quit at the right time watch a Roy Jones, Holyfield or Ali interview.:good

    Couldn't defeat him?

He TKO'd him in 6 rounds when he was shot, these Quitschko nuthuggers even try to deny plain facts which are undeniable.

Yeah, I know that he retired at the right time but he should have admitted that he was too old to fight instead of saying some bull**** like he had nothing to prove. I guess it must be the pride thing.

What are the chances of lightning striking twice and having Klitchko losing on cuts the second time? I would guess they would be pretty low. Lewis knew it. That's why he retired.

The loss to Lewis is Vitali's defining fight. Sad, but true.

The Lewis that fought Vitali was worse than the one that fought Rahman.

Out of shape again an older.

He didn't have anything to prove at all

41-2-1, 32 KO's, avenged both losses by dominant KO, beat pretty much everyone that was relevant in the division during his time at the top.
