this post pretty much sums up the Khan hatred for me... any other boxer posts that and no one even blinks... theres a reason Khan has a massive group of fans who hate his guts.... its probably 70% racial based hatred though (outside of this guy) most people wont admit it... on the flipside theres a reason Khan fans were probably 50-50 with Paulie fans in Paulies hometown... He's the 1st East Indian boxer of any note, that makes a lot of people really dislike him, but also brings him a following.

Hell, he had a freaking midget with him. During his tour of Europe he had his Cadillac shipped over there so he could drive it around and show it off. He wanted people to see his wealth. In context, it was a time when there was great oppression on black Americans and it was probably one of Robinson's ways of stickin it to the man. Granted, Robinson still probably would have flaunted his wealth the same, it makes me wonder if it may be some of the motivation for Khan's behavior. If Pakis really are hated as much as our English posters say they are, it wouldn't surprise me if it was a motivation for him to flaunt it the way he does.
