Kirkland is stronger and has more pop. Not as fast as Manny but has good speed. Manny could be in a for a bad night.
kirkland will smash pac, thats not even fair..kirkland is a pit bull, i wouldnt advise anyone to fight him...i still feel bad for joel julio...
Kirkland has potential and talent but he's too raw and has too many flaws that a guy like Manny would easily expose.
True....Kirkland doesn't have a big enough name and he's marketable. No need throwing him to the wolf when he could have a good ride staying undefeated facing opposition on his level.
Kirkland would seriously hand Manny his ass. Manny fighting Kirkland like he fought Clottey would be suicidal and the end of Pacman for life.
I'm not sure why James is even getting any kind of hype. Considerin he's at best a "B" level fighter at the moment. His talent can see him have a very good career but to try and put him in there with an ELITE fighter like Manny would be not only career suicide but HOMICIDE after Manny is through with him.:!:
What the hell has Kirkland got to do with anything?! For gods sake he's in jail, and he is a seemingly pretty good pressure fighter, BUT hasn't fought much of anyone to base it on. After jail I doubt he'll be the same, and even if he were..I'm not sure he beats Pac. Didn't he go the distance, or the later rounds against Julio? The guy Angulo (who doesn't have a ton of power, and lost against Cintron the fight before that) knocked out? I'd have to see Kirkland against a good boxer (like a Martinez) before I'd base him on beating pac. I'd call the fight 60/40 in favor of Pac (due to experience, speed, ring smarts, etc)
James Kirkland is set to return in August and have a few more bouts line up after that. Golden Boy Promotion is talking to Kirkland manager Miller frequently and Kirkland is looking sharp and back in shape as we speak. Kirkland would beat that shyt out of Pacman, believe that.
Your response is funny being that many people, including myself use to say things like that when talks of Pac one day fighting guys like De La Hoya and Cotto, and well we all know what happened there.
