a couple of warriors who just love fighting.......

fitzy has been in with some respectable company, and was the sparring partner foer many of the world title challengers that noel thornberry has promoted.

fitzy is 41!!!!! you old bugger, youve been lying to me!!!

i dont know smallman personally, but his record suggests he has given great servive to australian fight fans.

anyway this fight is set for the Gold Coast International Hotel, at Surfers Paradise on 26th june.

    should be a *******!!!

The only fight I have ever seen of smallmans was against Danny Green and he was one tough cookie ! Although technically limited he pushed Green very hard

You've got to love the doctor he's never been in a boring fight.
Theres no doubt he'd have a better record if he had a manager who tried to pad his record but Paul comes from the have gloves will fight gen.
The amount of times he would take fights on less than 10 days notice and often above his weight is testiment to the balls on him:good

im a bit of a fan of smallman. He could have really gone places with the right management. Hes got great fundamentals and is one of the hardest men is aus boxing.

The dr certainly is a tough tough bloke but I think he may be too tough for his own good and really needs to look at getting out of the game before he gets permanent injuries

    says on boxrec....http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=19363&cat=boxer

and it says so on both boxers pages...

anyway. who cares. the effort in training, the fitness they wil achieve for their age, and the 'fun' they will have.....arent they just enjoying life, and making their lives longer????

i feel fitzy is an inspiration!!!! 41 and still having a go......it didnt hurt foreman!

I saw the Doctor at Sherrington v Williams. He looked in tip top shape. Should be a good battle.

My recollection of Smallman was he pop his eardrum so many times in sparring and fights that you could see through to the other side! That is not a joke.

Paul is a warrior, I've seen him fight several times. He's been in some wars,, but boy, he's pushing the envelope.

I don't know the bloke personally but that vacant, almost glazed expression he has is a real worry.
