Lol :rofl you really think miller or bisping would try to go toe to toe with a boxer? Only dumbass tim sylvia would do such a thing. :rofl

Here's an example Kimbo Slice (who suck in MMA) defeated Ray Mercer :rofl

Took me a year and a half as well I think I said it takes an average one year to get a Bluebelt. Kinda wrong there from what I know it just takes anywhere from 6 months if your a god to 2 years assuming you take it seriously. Ive only been at it 2 years so I dont expect my slow ass to be a Purple Belt for like 3-4 years :yep Im the type for takes like 8 steps backwards before I can start slowing making progress.

I don't have the time to bring up all your crappy posts but acccording to you the UFC should have been finished by now, you've been saying for years that their going downhill and bla bla. And then's there the fight predictions....I wait to see who your making your bold claim on and then bet against what ever you say.

Remember Nog vs Cain...how about GSP vs Penn...just a couple that come to mind.

I love the UFC but it has seen its best days 2-3 years ago. Not saying it cant rebound but Im still waiting for an influx of new talent. They had a bit of bump when Pride dissolved but really where are the young up and coming stars??

Nog was a sentimental pick but really he was a sacrificial lamb. As for BJ, I bet you didnt see him taking a few days break from training to chill out and had Dana hyperventilating.

This will be the 5th staright event with over 500,000 ppv which isn't that bad and I'm sure that will continue for the next few cards as well. Are you saying the UFC's best days are when Tim Sylvia was champ and there was no good HW's in the UFC?

I get some wrong but I was near the top for the prediction contests. I've been bugging chimba because I've been noticing everything he posts is usually wrong.

Heck yeah, when you have a disliked HW like Sylvia, every bout was anticipated. Silva was a fighter back then, GSP had some challengers losing to serra. BJ/GSP was a huge event, GSP/Hughes.. Heck even Hughes/Gracie.. then you had all these guys from Pride coming over, it provided excitement on whos better.

  11. yeah, it wasn't too exciting this time around, but thats the way it goes, doesn't it?

i'm sure no one will agree with me, but i hate the grand entrances with the music and lights. its too much like wrestling in that department.

soon, i wouldn't be surprised to see fighters in the middle of the octagon with microphones. they will end up going on and on for 10 minutes or more, abusing various fighters and stating what they'd like to do to them, like the wrestling. too showy.
i used to like some of tysons entrances, dressed in black, no big hoo-ha at all, just wanting to get on with business.

I thought we all agreed to ignore this idiot? Clearly he says nothing that even remotely resembles an intelligent thought.

HENDO, you're welcome back once you remove that stick that is up your ass about MMA. Until then, please leave and don't return until the stick is gone...

UFC and the whole MMA is hyped up like something special and it isnt.. is just a bunch of guys street fighting.. they know a little of this and a little of that.. but the bottom line is that they are not profesional fighters..

    :hat

Pretty much. The level of athletacism isn't even comparable. Guys like Carwin and Mir are considered elite. You put a word class striker with a natural aptitude for wrestling in to a top training camp just training sprawl and TDD for a few years and it would be game over.
