I was over at Ringscience.com today and spotted a thread there called "fastest hands". Roy Jones of course was #1 but I noticed Mayweather at #2. The gentleman seemed to know the sport in and out, certainly more than ESBers like Mcgrain, but later I began to wonder is Floyd really faster than the likes of Camacho, Taylor, and Ray Robinson?

What "gentleman" are you referring to??

Only 3 different people have posted in that thread, and no one says **** about the sport "in and out." Also, the only person to actually do a ranking of fast hands had Robinson tied with Mayweather.

And some of it is not good at all. The distance a punch travels is not a funtion of handspeed at all, it's a technical issue.

    :deal

On the thread question, he's fast, not as fast as he used to be, not one of the fastest ever, but he has good speed.

That's not what the guy said... He said speed should be measured in terms of how far you travel in a given time.

I can't really bother reading what you write because I just love your new avatar so much. Could you please, please, pretty please stick with it for a while? It's the redhead from Mad Men, isn't it?

You won't see it for long. McGrain changes his avatars at a rate of precisely φ times per week.

Pretty lassie and all, but I have to say that McGrain's shits all over yours. You shouldn't post just after him, it's not fair to the girl in your avatar having McGrain's just beneath. Have to think about stuff like this.
