i hope he recovers ok, i seen him fight as an amateur, i know its negative but he got a lot of decisions wen he lost, the lancashire amateur officials are bent, 78 wins in 90, 25 times for england, and maxwell sparks him. id try his hand at football or snooker, its safer, im sorry but im a realist, and advising like his mother to take the safe route, god bless him.

25 times for England would suggest he had a very decent pedigree as an Amateur...:yep

Anyway this thread is about his welfare, if anyone knows please post, and if you know him send him my regards to a speedy recovery and return...:good

A looping right hand over the top, caught him flush, very concusive.

    Nice one...:yep

He keeps it too long at times, I thought he could make much better use of the uppercut...You can see lots of amateur technique that he has brought with him into the paid ranks... Extend and Correct with his feet and very straight and upright, lots of Ritchie Woodhall in his style, maybe from 25 England vests it is more of a Team GB style, his old style will have been polished out a long time ago, all tailor made for computer scoring...:yep

If he plants his feet and sits down on his punches a bit more his style will change by default, he can come again...:good

unfortunatly it isent jealousy or any other resentment, he's just another boxer to me, i state facts, and if im wrong, tell me what you would sugest he do , fact , its not his fault some ***** oficials gave him a fantastic amateur record, maybe they thought he was good looking, as 79 wins out of 90 and 25 times for england, doesent stack up with maxwell sparking him does it. i hope he has no ill efects, and does well at whatever else he chooses to do. ps if you knew who you were talking to you wouldent have mentioned sucess in boxing?

Fine amateur records don't necessarily equate to being a great fighter in the pro ranks.
