    People tend to put Mike Tyson in their top 10 and I rank Vitali higher then Tyson so he is top ten ATG.

    I really do not understand infatuation of some people with old time fighters. Is this some kind of nostalgia? I have seen most of the heavyweight title fights since establishing WBA and WBC. I do see anything so different than the things Vitaliy has been doing. For me he belongs to top 15 ATG list. Where exactly? It is hard to tell but he’s done enough to belong to that list.

    WTF? Watch Joe Louis and compare them. Joe Louis is so far ahead of Vitali as a Lamborghini is to the T-Model.

    Louis is on several levels better than Vitali.
    - Resummee (names)
    - Number of defenses, total time of domination
    - What he achieved for the sport itself
    - What he achieved despite being black in a racist era

    Vitali is better than Louis on KO-%. Prime for prime / H2H, Louis would lose vs. Vitali, but Louis was a big one for his time at 6'2" and 200lbs. Today he would be a cruiser, and a very competitive one, too.

    Louis would absolutly batter Vitali. See what he did to Buddy Baer, Vitali isn´t better than him.

    And no, I´m not a hater. I like Vitali, I followed him and his brother since their first televisioned fight. They are great people and good boxers but to compare them with the likes of Louis is laughable.
