Why are English fighters on the butt end of everyones jokes here?

Dude, its not just English fans, its just people who get VERY carried away in supporting their fighters. I'm not saying that I laugh at fans for just liking fighters, but sometimes they get a little too passionate. I know I don't purposely put down English fans, I hope others don't either just out of nationalism's sake. I can't speak for everyone though.

 

cause you guys overhype your fighters to no end, setting yourselves up for the typical foot-in-mouth situation

My questions and doubts only applies to Haye

You must know Brits that nationality ist so important. Most important is attitude towards fans, sport and opponents.And of course bravery,with no ducking

But i see Scottish who is so ******ed racist here that sometimes i ask myself is there evwerything allright with Brits

I personally dislike Haye because he is a coward.I like Froch, but much more Kessler or Abraham

I like and support Khan, because he's got very big talent
Calzaghe was one of my favs and Lennox probably is my favourite boxer all time,except of course TA

That's my summary about British fighters.Got nothing against them, because they are British.I dont care if you are British, American, Russian , German, Kazakh or form Moon

 

and americans don't? the difference between our overhyped fighters is we're still fans when they lose, while americans ditch their over hyped fighter after their first loss, hence why british boxing fans are the best in the world.

Because Brits are absurdly nationalistic and it's hilarious to poke fun at the lion's share of their overhyped fighters. Make no mistake, some ****ing great fighters come from the UK, like Lewis and Wilde for example. But when you have ******s like Scottish who refuse to even acknowledge doubts about Haye after all the ducking and the **** talking, and the Calzaghe dickriders it gets kinda hard not to rip on a bunch of them. People think it's because Americans only like their own fighters... I say that's a load of ****.

 

Because we British do tend to over-rate our fighters. But then again, so do the Americans at times.
