Really? That's not what the WEC is known for. They are generally known for putting on quality, exciting cards. What fights did you watch?
too many names for me to even recall....lots of 1st round GnP stoppages and some early subs maybe I just have too small of a sample size
Well just because it's a first round stoppage doesn't mean that it's a mismatch. **** like that happens in MMA all the time. With small gloves, the ability to follow up on knockdowns immediately and the fact that there are no second chances with submissions this happens. It's the nature of the game. Case in point Shogun/Machida 2. Shogun finished Machida in the 1st but that sure as hell ain't a mismatch.
i agree...but what i have seen moslty (again, very small sample) is some very lame GnP on guys with zero ground game, and some very one-dimensional guys but i'll take your word...i think it's just the fights i saw...i'll keep my eyes on WEC for sure
I would definitely keep an eye on them. They consistantly produce execllent cards with exciting fights and they have some of the best P4P fighters on the planet.
