Don't know what country you're from, but here in America and other free societies, you have to first prove guilt before you ask someone to prove their innocence. Is Bin Laden your leader?

 

It is not the undefeated record that matter but the context of the fights the contender has faced, the opponents, no, the tormentors that he had to face, the manner with which he dealt with these particular thorns usually dramatized over years and contested in trilogies or over multiple fights, the domestic and international setting during the times of the warrior's journey, the personal set back, challenges and the manner with which he comport himself during these times in the gym, the press, the larger society, what he stands for and whether anybody, not just boxing aficionados, but the larger community of sentient beings, whether they care or not...

There has been no more compelling figure in the sport or any sport in this or the larger international community since Ali than the phenomenon that is the Pacman, by all account.

He is that personification of what the nature boy himself proclaimed in ostentatious declarative televised manifestos...Whether u like it or not, learn to live with it, because he is the best thing going today.

For Floyd to be in that category, he needs a tormentor, like Frazier to Ali, Leonard to Duran, Hagler to Hearn, Holenfeld to Tyson, Perhaps Pacman to Floyd, not in just one fight but over the next three years minimum over at least two if not three fights. If he fights the fights and win convincingly against those he is not expected to dominate, those who are supposedly bigger and stronger, then even if he were to loose his undefeated record, his legacy can only be solidified as an ATG...the potential tormentors are all around him, he just need the fortitude to fight the fights and fullfill his potential as a warrior, win, loose or draw.

 

If that happens then props to Floyd for showing he is the best on his era.....but till then...Pac is FOTD

Same with NBA MVP. It's not judge from one game or few games only. It's the player's overall performance for the whole season.
