Off the top of my head Bowe against Lewis but at least Bowe didnt agree to the fight in the first place sell tickets and then ***** out.Haye did this against Wlad after months of saying that infact Wlad wanted no part of him.

To do it a second time is pretty shameful. And David Haye actually did:lol:

Beyond Bowe how many ***** ass moments can you think of in Boxing History that can rival Sir Duck Alot's?

Hmmm well not many boxers win 3 of their world championships on foreign soil.

dont think marciano, hopkins, leonard, robinson and countless others ever won a belt on foreign soil so the list is endless.

the word duck is thrown around by haters. when talks break down that isnt a duck. measure hayes courage when his career is finished. but for now he went to france and germany to win world titles and came back from a knockdown to knock out the undisputed cruiserweight champion, so he is doing alright by my reckoning

None of that has anything to do with the way that he is ducking the Klitschkos. Especially Wlad.

tough move to travel to france to beat some paper champ who was ko´d and just robbed the belts back when you cant even sell in your own country..
and its even tougher to move to germany when you know you´ll get a gift decision because you sold your ass to sauerland

Sure, I agree, but the "two sides of the story" argument only goes so far.

What we all know is that
    1) Haye talked his way into the HW scene with some super aggressive marketing aimed at defeating the Klitschkos. He only had to beat one bum and an overaged Monte Barrett at heavyweight to get a title shot. That's ridiculous.
    2) A fighter of Haye's status can get the fights that he wants... if he really wants them.
Don't tell me that he's told his manager (or anyone else) that he wants to beat up the Klitschkos, but has been refused the chance to do so. There is such a thing as honor, and at this point, honor dictates that Haye steps up.

I kinda like Haye, and I think he's a good fighter, but at this point he needs to fight Wlad, if he wants to secure his legacy.
Right now, he's in serious danger of forever being "the guy who ran from the Klitschkos".

yeah, and he agreed to a fight, then pulled out with a bad back, a couple days later Setanta go bust, they were the only ones paying him as Klity got all the other money, so obviously he faked back injury when he got word he wouldnt be paid by Setanta. Lets see who he actually fights next before judging.

it is pretty tough, but he came trhough it, thats my point.

and yes, again he went to germany knowing he wouldnt get a kayo but had to hope the judges would see sense, and again he came through it.

as you rightly point out, he has always overcame the adversity he has so far faced, hopefully the vitali fight wil come off and then we can see how good he is at heavyweight!

i wish more people where as reasonable as you rather than assuming the worst from the off

I don't really understand how some guy who isn't fighting in the middleweight division or trying to become the middleweight champion can actually "duck" the middleweight champion? :huh I don't see how he was obligated to fight him, really.

well yes, bowe did actually agree to fight the winner of lewis and ruddock, and then when lewis won, bowe refused the fight, and put the belt in the bin. he got stripped for a reason.

the only time haye pulled out of the fight when tickets were sold is when setanta went bankrupt.

Manny Pacquiao trying to justify refusing blood tests on the grounds of him having to give a higher percentage of blood in his body compared to Floyd based on the cubic capacity of his body was a good one.
