Yeah smart ****, and i lived in Vietnam for 2 years. Trust me its called the American war in Vietnam.

A few years ago they had to rename a museum which housed all of the American war crimes committed on the peasant nation of Vietnam. EG Napalming indiscriminately, agent orange etc. It was called the museum of American war crimes. It is now called the war memorial museum.

I've been expecting a thread like this for a while. Personally, I have nothing against British fighters, but I have made plenty of comments about them. A few in particular, but I won't get into that. As for the reason I think that British fighters get ragged on is that there seems to be a trend of exaggeration that surround them. It's not all British fight fans mind you (I know some of you guys really know your stuff) but some are so out of touch and over the top as to make me shake my head. Examples are Khan will certainly be an ATG, Haye already is an ATG, Calzaghe is top 20 ATG, Hatton lost because of the ref, Mitchell will rule the division. With some guys there seems to be no, or very little effort, to be objective when forming opinions.

Howver, I love the passion you guys have and respect you getting behind your fighters.

:patsch You NEED TO READ A BOOK!!!!!!!! We sent over the BEF to support the French. Relative to the numbers invading Germans it was the equivalent of an ant fighting a lion. We never expected the French to fold so quickly as they had the largest and best (what was believed at the time but later proved wrong) army in Europe. So once they folded we had to run. Do you really think the army couldve fought on against the entire Wehrmacht? plus there would be no airfields in the region.....please read more than a 4 sentence review of the period before commenting..

We fought without allies form the fall of France until Pearl Harbour (about 18 months). If you think Russia was part of the allies then I implore you to open a text book.

Lend lease started in 1941. And that was a loan not a gift.

A loan that saved your ass, Also after the war we only charged you 10% of the actual worth of the equipment

Large quantities of goods were in Britain or in transit when the United States terminated Lend-Lease when the war ended on 2 September 1945. Britain wished to retain some of this equipment in the immediate post war period. In 1946, a post-war loan
    This content is protected
further indebted the Britain to the U.S. Lend-lease items retained were sold to Britain at 10% of nominal value, 10% seems more like a gift IMO.
