williams was one helluva fighter shame he was put in with klitschko its been a downward spiral since that brutal night. other than that he had a super career:good
Well as i started the thread and have been impressed by the majority of the sensible response's, despite losing in his fairwell bout i would just like to say - THANKS FOR EVERYTHING DANNY WILLIAMS! Now go enjoy your well deserved rest and all the best for the future!!
Well done danny you had talent and heart you had some great wins and some shameful losses most of all you thrilled us with your amazing weight disparity and ability to make every fight difficult apart from the few easy ones that made you look like a world class fighter your chin was **** but your skills were sublime thank you for a wonderful time yours truly phil bennyworth
I believe that was a fair review for a talented but flawed fighter no mas great talent no doubt but very susceptable cheers phil
Talk of Danny's retirement is a bit premature according to this . http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=6522&cat=boxer
He has been a decent fighter to watch over the years. He should have retired some time ago.The showing at prizefighter really proved that.It was pretty obvious he would lose to Chisora as well.I wish Danny all the best and just hope he stays retired now.
Fat, inconsistent, loads of heart and the journey was fun while it lasted. Never had any genuine intention of fufilling his ability. Came in good shape maybe once or twice.
