Really depends on David Haye, Tomas Adamek, Chris Arreola, and Deontay Wilder. If Haye starts fighting in Vegas, Adamek continues to fight in New Jersey and Arreola becomes the champion which he could become if the Taco truck doesn't derail him then yes it can, and Deontay Wilder can be the one great America heavyweight that in 5-6 years will continue the run.

none of the fighters youve mentioned will ever be invoved in an area of boxing with a heavyweight division that is considered great imo

 

of course it will! everything that goes up must come down and vice versa! of course it wont stay weak forever! all it takes is for a couple exciting heavyweights to come through and it will capture the excitement of boxing prospects who will then try even harder to make it big as heavyweights.
I totally disagree there has to he AMERICAN heavyweights thats a ridiculous narrow minded thing to say. As long as there are a few exciting talented heavy's at the top, it doesnt matter WHAT country they come from!

 

Look up the history of the Heavyweight division and see what makes this division so great. I never stated that other countries will not produce great Heavyweights...take for example the Klitschko's.

But the Heavyweight scene will not be at the forefront of boxing until there is at least one top, charismatic American Heavyweight in the mix of things!!!

since america is a massive market for boxing i agree there probably has to be an american heavy in the mix. But you said a NUMBER of american heavyweights which i dont agree with! The klits are a bad example and not considered exciting coz they are seen as nothing but tall strong european robots with no real personality. No real excitement.

What the heavyweight scene needs are personalities who also fight in an explosive way, who take on challenges! I think those are the main criteria, not which country they are from. Like i said i agree there would probably have to be an american there or there abouts but i disagree that there has to be a NUMBER of american heavy's for it to b exciting again

 

Nope...but I'm pretty sure a lot of people will agree with what I'm saying. The Heavyweight scene is getting very limited coverage in America, and pretty much everywhere else. Thats why the American's are desperate, and have been desperate for an American to challenge the Klitschko's.

The division will not be considered great until there is at least one American winning and competing for titles. Thats not saying an America has to be dominating the division...
