Wasn't Froch always complaining about how he never got the love and respect of the British media the way all the other famous British fighters have? Maybe he's so effed up by the loss that now he's convinced that his marketability is totally screwed. So if absolutely everything doesn't go the way he wants it to,he'll take the "you'll totally miss me if i'm gone" approach and threatens to retire.
The home fighter has always gotten the decision...but the only bout I can think of that was controversial was Froch v Dirrell. A lot of people have argued that Dirrell did enough to win...I personally thought it should have been a draw. But if hometown decisions was the reasoning Froch is complaining about locations for his next bout...it would be strange because in a lot of peoples opinions, he is the only one who has benefited from a hometown decision.
He wants a hometown bout, or for the bout to take place in America. I doubt his complaining has a lot to do with his worry of hometown decisions, and more to do with him just suffering his first loss.
Its funny to see how Froch was the best thing since the sliced bread and now all these nuthuggers are all gone. If Froch could have learn to STFU, his situation would be alot better. Almost lost to Taylor and Dirrell, lost to Kessler and now facing the dangerous AA, his confidence must no be at 100% for sure.
After reading this thread , Ive realized that I like Froch even more and now believe he will beat Abraham and be back to his old self in no time. It takes a bunch of people to make **** in order to leave the room .
The fact is this was already supposed to be in AA backyard, and cuz Froch can't take the lost to Kessler like a man, he now want to change the rules, so he can maybe get another hometown decision ala Dirrell.
